The Riverdale Fire Department consists of volunteer firefighters. Residents are asked to allow the responding volunteers the right-of-way. Responding volunteers are identified by a flashing blue light located on their vehicle.

Persons interested in joining the Fire Department should contact Floyd Bruns, Fire Chief, or come to a Fire Department meeting. Meetings are held each Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Riverdale Fire Department/Town Hall.
