City Council Meetings
City Council Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. at the Riverdale City Hall, on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month.
The Community Room at City Hall is available for residents and Riverdale Volunteer Firefighters to use. Those wishing to use the Community Room should call City Hall to reserve a time. An agreement must be signed and two checks for $30 are required to hold a reservation. One of the $30 checks is a refundable deposit that will be returned if the room has been left as found (clean, nothing broken, and the key returned). The other $30 is a nonrefundable room rental fee. Anyone wishing to serve alcohol must present a request to City Council for approval and present a homeowners policy showing that the person renting the room has a host liquor clause on their homeowner’s policy. Keep in mind that the City Council only meets the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. The request would need to be received one week before the Council meeting to be placed on the agenda.
